Door jambs are the first thing you see when you open the door. Wipe them with an all-purpose cleaner and a microfiber every few washes.
Why jambs matter
A car can look freshly washed until someone opens a door and sees a greasy, dirt-caked jamb. It's one of the details that separates a quick wash from a real detail.
How to clean them
- Spray an all-purpose cleaner onto a microfiber, not directly into the jamb
- Wipe the painted surfaces and around the hinges
- Use a soft brush for the rubber seals and tight corners
- Dry thoroughly to prevent drips
Part of every full detail
Door jamb cleaning is included in a proper interior and exterior detail, it's one of the areas we never skip.
